Procedure after submitting Visa application / documents for legalization.

1. What should I do after submitting the Visa/Legalization application?
Log on to the website, www.vfs-it-ma.com or call our Contact Centre on +212 22 77 46 46 to check your application status. It is advisable to check the application status only after the average processing time mentioned in this website.

2. In case of Schengen Visa, where will my interview be held?
At the Consulate General of Italy, No 21, Avenue Hassan Souktani, Casablanca, Morocco or the Embassy of Italy in Rabat. The Payment receipt provided by the IVLAC will carry the Interview date & time.

3. What do I need to carry for the interview?
Interview letter and any additional documents requested by the Consulate General of Italy or the Embassy of Italy in Rabat.

4. What will happen after the interview?
You can check the status of your application via our website www.vfs-it-ma.com or our Contact Centre +212 22 77 46 46 (casablanca), +21237 70 30 60 (Rabat). It is advisable to check the status after the average processing time mentioned in this website.

5. Where shall I collect my passport in case of Schengen Visa?
Bring your invoice copy and collect your passport & other returnable documents from the IVLAC after checking the application status through the IVLAC call centre or the website www.vfs-it-ma.com.

6. Where shall I collect my passport in case of National Visa?
National Visas applicant will have to visit the Consulate or the Embassy to collect their passport & other returnable documents through an appointment which will be scheduled to the applicant at the time of application submission at the IVLAC. Applicant's personal appearance is required to collect passport.

7.What should I do after submitting the Documents for Legalization?
You can check the status of your application (only Schengen visas) via our website www.vfs-it-ma.com or our Contact Centre +212 22 77 46 46 (Casablanca) , +21237 70 30 60 (Rabat). It is advisable to check the status after the average processing time mentioned in this website.

8. What should I do, if the IVLAC website or the call centre confirms that the Legalization of Documents is done.
Bring your payment receipt provided by IVLAC and collect the Documents from the IVLAC.

9. What should I do, if I already have an appointment to visit the CGIC or the Embassy to submit a Visa or Legalization Application.
Please visit the IVLAC with the appointment receipt & submit your visa application through the IVLAC.

10. I already have an appointment with the CGIC or the Embassy for Legalization, is there a possibility to request for an anticipation of my appointment date?
If you intend to Legalize documents for Family Re-Union purposes, please note that, according to the new rule, you do not need to Legalize your documents prior to the "Nulla Osta".

If you intend to Legalize documents for other purposes (Citizenship, Study & others), please contact IVLAC for further assistance.
